The mission is to enhance internationalization of Danish research and higher Education by 1) establishing collaboration between Danish and US researchers 2) developing workshop for Danish research groups in the US 3) analyzing specific issues of interest to the Danish research and higher education agenda.
Based in Silicon Valley, the world-class universities UC Berkeley and Stanford University are ideal partners, which between them produced more than 50 living Nobel price winners. We have permanent agreements with CITRIS at UC Berkeley and SUNCAT at Stanford, where Danish research have the chance to join and do research at these world-renowned universities. Furthermore, our permanent agreements include the East Coast frontrunner on innovation, MIT.
With funding from the Lundbeck Foundation five medicine students are chosen each year to a 10-month program of studying and research training at UCSF, UC Berkeley, and Stanford – some of the strongest research schools in the world. The program gives the students a unique opportunity to combine world-class research with entrepreneurship training from senior Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist. The program includes administrative and financial support with a grant that covers all costs.
